Follonico is the perfect destination for travellers wishing to experience an authentic time-out in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The hillside where Follonico has come to life has been transformed over time into an enchanting natural environment. Abundant borders of lavender and aromatic plants give the garden a romantic touch, while roses, jasmine and honeysuckle climb along ancient stone walls and fill the air with the heady scents of the Tuscan countryside.

Enjoy the many secluded corners of the gardens where you can relax with a good book or watch the sunset over the hills and valleys of Montepulciano. Savour a glass of Brunello in the shade of a wisteria-laden pergola or simply spend a lazy day under the gentle warmth of the Tuscan sun.

At the heart of Follonico is its family of animals that welcomes guests with enthusiasm: geese walk elegantly around the pond and in the garden, while sheep, hens and dogs roam around the sloping lawn. The family cat dozes in the dappled shade of the trees and the donkey and horses graze in the paddock near the vegetable garden.
